Finals Schedule for 7th/8th Grade Students
December 19th
Junior High students will follow a regular schedule and dismiss at 3pm, per normal.
December 20th
Junior High students will follow a regular schedule and dismiss at 3pm, per normal.
December 21st
Junior High students not required to attend for intervention, will not attend school on 12/21. The families of students required to attend for intervention will be notified via email, teacher/office communication, and/or text. There will be a 2pm dismissal.
OJSHS returns from winter break on Thursday, January 5th. We will immediately enter 2nd semester. Please reference your 2nd semester/3rd Quarter schedule in PowerSchool before returning.
Finals Schedule for 9th-12th Grade Students
December 19th
2nd Period 8:05 - 9:35
3rd Period 9:40 - 11:10
4th Period 11:15 - 12:30
*WACC classes will still occur at the normal time.
High School students may leave the building after 12:30. If they choose to stay, lunch will be provided for any interested high school students at 12:30 in the cafeteria. Then, students may work in the library or with an approved teacher. Busses will run at 3:00 PM.
December 20th
1st Period 8:05 - 9:35
5th Period 9:40 - 11:10
*WACC students will leave at the normal time to go to their final day of WACC. If a student needs more time completing a first period final, that will be addressed on an individual basis.
High School students may leave the building after 11:10. A lunch will be provided for any interested high school students starting at 11:30 in the cafeteria. Then, students may work in the library or with an approved teacher. Busses will run at 3:00 PM.
December 21st
6th Period 8:05 - 9:35
7th Period 9:40 - 11:10
High School students may leave the building after 11:10. A lunch will be provided for any interested high school students starting at 11:30 in the cafeteria. Then, students may work in the library or with an approved teacher. Busses will run at 2:00 PM.
High school students must attend all class periods they have a class at OJSHS, including TA periods or independent study classes. Only students approved to leave will be counted excused if not in attendance.
If you miss a final for any reason, you must make arrangements to complete your final. Make-up testing will be scheduled for after winter break. Arrangements should be made with that specific teacher, not the OJSHS office.
